About Christian Pedoty
Christian Pedoty began a career in law enforcement in the mid-1980s, when he joined the U.S. Army Military Police Corps. After three years of military service, Chris Pedoty went on to work for and/or head federal and municipal police forces throughout the Eastern U.S. Today, he serves as a regional manager of a government contracting firm. Responsible for a district that encompasses three states of Northern New England, Christian Pedoty maintains a federal protective service contract with the Department of Homeland Security and manages a force of nearly 175 officers and supervisors assigned to federal facilities.
Christian S. Pedoty served on municipal police forces from 1993 to 2012. During that time, he worked as chief of police for a small Massachusetts town, overseeing seven officers in a quiet seasonal community of 2,000 year-round residents. Chief Pedoty played a critical role in updating the police department and bringing it in line with standard operating practices.
Over the course of his career, Christian Pedoty has earned numerous awards recognizing his service to community and country. During his military service, Pedoty received a Letter of Commendation and two U.S. Army Achievement Awards. In the public sector, Chris Pedoty achieved the Highest Overall Average award for his performance at the NYC Police Academy. As a member of the city’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police, he was honored with two Cop of the Month awards and an Excellent Police Duty Award.
