The Philanthropic Activities of Chris Redard
About Christopher Redard
Electrical engineer Chris Redard gives back to society through involvement in charitable groups. A supporter of national organizations such as Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity International, and Meals on Wheels Association of America, Christopher Redard created a local chapter of Random Acts of Kindness. This meetup.com-based entity lists ways for individuals to assist their communities, and they can sign up to volunteer for an event just a few days in advance. Christopher Redard plans to expand his branch of Random Acts of Kindness so that multiple groups can turn to it when they need one-time or ongoing aid.
Aside from humanitarianism, Redard enjoys traveling. While in the United States Navy as a nuclear electrician aboard a submarine, he went to Hong Kong, Korea, the Philippines, and Japan. Today, he continues to travel extensively.
Outside of these projects, Chris Redard relaxes with sports and entertainment. Although he plays soccer, swims, and does Frisbee golf, he prefers motocross as a way to relieve tension, enjoy the outdoors, and compete against others. Christopher Redard's favorite books include "Catcher in the Rye" and "War and Remembrance," while his favorite movies are black-and-white classics such as "The Grapes of Wrath."
