Calcium

Remember how your mom always told you to drink your milk?

My element is calcium. The symbol for calcium is "Ca". The melting point of calcium is 839+/-2^oC. The boiling point is 1484^oC. It's gravity is 1.55 (20^oC). It has two valence electrons. Calcium is a silvery white, soft alkaline earth metal.

Common uses for calcium are reducing other metals, it is used in the making of cement, and it is used to build homes in poor countries.

My element is needed for survival because it is tough, it is in milk (which makes your bones stronger so that you can withstand more damage), it can be used as a weapon (you could make a cement launcher that dries up enemies), and you could build shelter with it.
