Tobacco is the prepared leaves, as used in cigarettes, cigars, and pipes. (  Five effects of tobacco on the body: (                            Smokers have trouble breathing because smoking damages the lungs.      Smoking causes dry yellow skin and wrinkles.      Smoking increases your heart rate and blood pressure and causes heart disease and heart attacks.    Nicotine, the drug that makes tobacco addictive, goes to your brain very quickly.      Tobacco ruins some of your taste buds, so you won't be able to taste your favorite foods  as well.    Second-hand smoke: Environmental tobacco smoke that is inhaled involuntarily or passively by someone who is not smoking.  (      Nicotine is the chemical in cigarettes that make them addictive.

·         Carcinogens- Chemicals found in cancer that are known to cause cancer.

·         More than 7,000 different chemicals have been found in tobacco and tobacco smoke. Among these are more than 60 chemicals known to cause cancer (carcinogens) (

·         Chronic bronchitis is a chronic inflammatory condition in the lungs that causes the respiratory passages to be swollen and irritated, increases the mucus production and damages the lungs.

·         Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)- involving constriction of the airways and difficulty or discomfort in breathing.

·         A condition in which the air sacs of the lungs are damaged and enlarged, causing breathlessness.
