Dr. Claudia Kritz, Portland, Oregon-Based Clinical Psychologist
Clinical and forensic psychologist Claudia Kritz, PhD, owns and operates a specialty psychology practice in Portland, Oregon. Licensed as a psychologist in Oregon since 1997, she also maintains state certification as a forensic evaluator. At her private practice, she works with adults suffering from trauma-related personality disorders and she evaluates the competency and risk of defendants expected to stand trial. Additionally, Dr. Claudia Kritz treats adults accused of animal abuse crimes in the Portland area.
Outside of maintaining her practice, Dr. Claudia Kritz works as a clinical psychologist for Oregon Department of Corrections. In this role, she provides diagnostic consultation regarding inmates at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility. She previously worked as a forensic evaluator and served as chief psychologist for Oregon State Hospital in Salem.
Dr. Claudia Kritz earned her PhD in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She also possesses a master’s degree in linguistics from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin. On and off from 2004 to the present, she works as a clinical supervising faculty member at Pacific University’s School of Professional Psychology in Oregon.
