A designer represented by The Gersh Agency, Clint Ramos has designed theater sets and costumes for productions across the nation. A selection of Mr. Ramos’ most recent set and/or costume design credentials includes Volpone, performed at Red Bull Theater; The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures at The Public Theater; The Mountaintop at Alley Theatre; Bus Stop at Centerstage; and The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity at the Dallas Theater Center.
Clint Ramos, a resident of New York, NY, has received much acclaim for his theater design. Among his numerous achievements, he won the 2009 American Theater Wing Henry Hewes Design Award for his costume design for Women Beware Women and the 2007 Henry Hewes Design Award for his work on Madras House. In addition, Mr. Ramos was nominated for the Lucille Lortel Award in the category of Outstanding Costume Design for So Help Me God!, performed by the Mint Theater Company.
In addition to designing theater sets and costumes, Clint Ramos focuses his attention on a variety of charities and organizations dedicated to improving communities in New York, NY, and beyond. He donates to New York Foundling, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, God’s Love We Deliver, and Oxfam International. Most recently, Mr. Ramos commenced work with SLAM: Sobriety, Learning and Motivation, an organization that is working to found New York City’s first substance-recovery high school. Other individuals associated with the theater industry have joined the cause along with Mr. Ramos, including actress Kristen Johnston. In recent months, Clint Ramos also earned a seat on the Board of Directors of FIERCE, a membership-based organization devoted to providing opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth of color living in New York, NY.
