Clove Lakes Health Care Provides Quality Rehabilitative Care
Located in Staten Island, New York, Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Inc., is dedicated to rehabilitating individuals who have suffered injuries or illnesses, in addition to helping those with disabling conditions become independent and live meaningful lives. With an experienced staff of more than 800 employees, the facility primarily admits individuals from the tristate area, but has admitted individuals from as far as Germany. The center accepts admissions every day of the week and at all hours of the day. Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center also has two full-time public relations staff members who help place patients in the facility by working closely with hospital case managers through telecommunications and on-site meetings.
Originally founded in 1967 by its current owner Nicholas N. Demisay, Clove Lakes provides a wide range of healthcare services to patients aged 16 and older. The facility’s healthcare services include long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, respite care, and dementia care, as well as psychological and psychiatric care for those who with Alzheimer’s. When it comes to rehabilitation services, Clove Lakes has on-site occupational, physical, and speech therapists, along with a 1,500-square-foot gym and aquaciser for hydrotherapy exercise.
