“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
I believe in the love of the Lord,
the individuality of people,
the pursuit of happiness,
the significance of family,
graciousness, and the good in people,
But I don’t believe in gossip and lies.
I believe in true friends,
I believe in Jeremiah 29:11,
I believe in honesty,
trust, courage, and love,
And I believe that God has a plan for everyone’s life and you just have to go with it.
My Personal Credo
I live my life by the bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” I believe that the Lord has a plan for everyone and all we have to do is believe in Him.
Awhile back, there was an “Instagram Challenge” to post your favorite bible verse and you would tag people in your picture to challenge them. I was challenged by three of my friends to post my favorite verse. This challenge really got me thinking of what is my favorite verse? I should be reading in my bible and memorizing my favorite verses because I should live my life by them.
I come from a very religious family. My Mamaw Phyllis is one of the greatest Christians I know and I always strive to be like her. My mamaw was married to my Papaw Alvin. He sadly passed away 10 years ago, but he has a favorite verse and whenever I read it I think of him. His favorite verse was Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He lived by that verse everyday of his life and it inspired me to do the same. I believe it’s important to live by a verse in the Bible because it’s God’s word and that’s how we really get to know Him.
I believe that I will continue to live by Jeremiah 29:11 for the rest of my life. It’s really important to me because it reassures me that even when you have difficult times, you will get through it. This verse brings me great comfort. I believe that everyday I will continue to grow stronger in my faith and belief of Jeremiah 29:11.
Jeremiah 29:11 is important me because it reassures me of my future. I encourage others to read this verse and live by it as well. Everyone is always worrying and questioning: What’s going to happen to me? How will this affect me? Will I be okay? We all just need to be strong in our faith and believe that we all have a bright future.
