Ode to a Coffee Mug
You provide a convenient vessel for my warm, caffeine-infused morning (and afternoon) beverage.
“Back when I was picking beans in Guatemala, we used to make fresh coffee, right off the trees.”
This ain't no ordinary coffee mug. This one is rare. With it's see-through handle and faded blue, paper exterior, it stands out in any meeting room that doesn't have much to look at.
In fact, I can't count the number of times someone's asked about the bar graph and Bayer logo on the side. And every time they ask, I say, "Hey. You wouldn't understand the complexity involved in a bar graph like this. And if you did, it'd be only because I took all day to spell it out for you.
"It's better that you just sit there satisfied in the knowledge that no other blue, plastic, coffee mug with unknown origins in this entire universe can hold coffee like this mug can." I mean, look at it.
