Public Health and Law Student
About Cora Crecelius
As a student in the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, Cora Crecelius pursues an M.P.H. and a J.D. With a concentration on public health policy and management, Cora Crecelius enriches her studies through an internship at the senior care organization SEACUS, where she is developing a multifaceted volunteer program. In tandem with her M.P.H. coursework, Ms. Crecelius studies law, volunteers at the Legal Referral Clinic and Hummel Park Library, and recently performed as treasurer of the Southern Arizona Health Law Organization. In addition, Ms. Crecelius has served as secretary of the Immigration Law Student Association and received Merit, Richard Grant, and Dean’s Achievement scholarships.
An alumna of the University of Montana and its Davidson Honors College, Cora Crecelius graduated with high honors in 2007 with a bachelor of arts in anthropology. She worked as a tutor, mentor, and peer assistant in college, and she volunteered with Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms and Ecology Project International.
