Our client was Shrek. The mighty ogre called us forth on his swamp planet to invent a machine that could carry around a satellite that can collect solar power on wheels. Our team consisted of Langston Collins, Sid Elkins, Moseley Mason, Jackson Elsberry, and Will Beasley. The requirements were to have a minimum gear ratio of 1:5, needed to be located around a corner, needed to be angle towards the sun and has to follow the sun. We had 9 days to design and build it, a budget of $350 (three-fiddy), and no flammable material because the swamp planet has things that spontaneously com bust. We had to stay focused very hard on it to finish it in the 9 day limit we had. We put the satellite on the base then attached wheels and checked to see if it worked. It did! So we decided it worked great. Of course there were a few minor errors that needed to be adjusted such as loose screws but Shrek gave us the strength to do it and we did it! All hail the holy onion.
We need some scrap metal from a junkyard
