*The problem is my computer is old when I tried to use it for my homework it was running very slow. I need to get it fixed or get a new one so I will be able to do my homework.

*Research: Try to troubleshoot, Check the age of the computer, Research how often you should get a new computer, Go to a tech store and get feedback.

* Temporary solutions: Use a friends computer, Go to the library, Use a classroom computer, Use a cellphone.

*Design: I don't know what is wrong with the computer. But I think I may need a new computer but I don’t know where to start in getting a new computer. I been having to use the school computers until I could get it fixed or get a new one.

2. Developing Ideas (examples)

What is needed: Have a way to do homework, email teachers, play games and find a way to get things done. It also must be fast and will be able to store a lot of memory.

What can be done: Get it fixed or get a new one

Plan: If the price is right, get a new computer

3. Creating the Solution

Construct the plan: Try to troubleshoot

Check the age of the computer

Research how often you should get a new computer

Go to a tech store and get feedback

See what your budget is and if the price is right then get the computer fixed and then take the computer home and use it

Demonstrate Technical Skills:  excellent research on computer parts.

Follow the plan: Make sure we check the plan

Turn on the computer and compare and contrast it to the old computer you had or to the computer before it was fixed
