Social Studies

The Social Studies Instructional Materials Adoption Committee and additional educators at campuses throughout the district are currently concluding their piloting of materials. We are very excited about the possibilities for our new Social Studies materials at the elementary, middle school and high school levels.

The month of February is designated as Black History Month. Social Studies educators around CISD are highlighting the many contributions and achievements of African Americans in U.S. history, in their learning experiences.

Career and Technical Education (CTE)

CHS and NTH@C learners visited all three middle schools to provide presentations about the various endorsement pathways and offer perspective on the experiences related to different programs at both high schools.

The month of February is recognized as CTE month. Throughout this month, please take a moment to acknowledge the many accomplishments and contributions of our CTE programs this academic year.
