The Five Themes Of Geography
By Davion Jaheem Lewis
The location is a place were you can locate or find a place or a town.
Location is an important term in geography, and is usually considered more logical than "place." A locality is a human settlement: city, town, village, or even archaeological site.
The terms location and place are used to identify a point or an area on the Earth's surface or elsewhere.
Movement refers to the way people, products, information and ideas are moved
The Human-Environment or Environmental Interaction is Theme #4. This theme looks at home geography dictates human's activities, and conversely, how human activities affects or alters geography.
- In geography, regions are areas broadly divided by physical characteristics (physicalgeography), human-impact characteristics (human geography), and the interaction of humanity and the environment (environmentalgeography).
