Fall Is Great

by Dawson W.

The birds are chirping, the trees are blank, and the smiles of family playing in the brown, red, and orange leaves. It’s my favorite season of them all. Dad and I have to clean the pool today because it’s filled with colored leaves that have fallen from the trees. Look at all those squirrels collecting acorns in the trees. Then we raked up all the leaves in one big pile like a trampoline made of leaves, waiting to be jumped into and scattered everywhere. After all are jobs were done, we would play in the leaves we raked up.

Then after playing in the soft and brittle leaves, we would play with our big brown dog who smelled musky from playing in the leaves. Then we would have a good pumpkin pie for dinner that tasted like it just came out of the oven. Then we would watch a movie after dinner.
