Edmund G. Brown Jr. also known as Jerry brown was born in San Francisco, California on April 7, 1938. Jerry received his B.A. degree in Classics at the University of Berkeley, then he went to Yale Law School and graduated in 1964. In 1970 Brown was elected California Secretary of state and in 1974 he was elected Governor and re-elected in 1978. Brown married Anne Gust on June 18, 2005. On November 6, 2006 he was elected Calfiornia's 31 Attorney General by 18 points greater than any other candidate and in 2010 he was elected for his third term.
The Governor is the Chief of the National Guard which means that he takes care of everything that has to do with it. He also suggests what he wants for state laws and he can veto state laws. The governor has a term of 2 to 4 years but they can run as much times as they want.
