The Homo Erectus
The Upright Man had a large ridge above their eyes and faces of modern humans. They also have round smooth foreheads thick skull a jaw that stuck out and they also had strong legs.
The upright man group lived on the island of Java shown above.
The upright man could make more advanced tools like axes made of stone. They also ate animals like red deer elephants rhinos goats boars and oysters. They could also use animal skins for clothing and to make huts.
The upright man group could make fire and use it for many things. They would use it to cook food for light warmth and scaring away dangerous animals. The upright man could now travel to colder places since they could keep warm with fire and they could travel in the dark since they had light.
