Don't destroy anything that isn't yours!
Why was Sherman's March to Sea too much?
Sherman's March to Sea was too much! He took control of Atlanta, Savannah, a major railroad hub, a major sea port. Sherman laid the land between Atlanta and Savannah to waste. While he did all of these things he was destroying all that was in his path. This was unnecessary to do all of this. Sherman and his men did what they had to do but the things they destroyed didn't even belong to them. If the things didn't belong to them, why did they destroy it? Sherman's March was just like World War I. During both of these events many, many things were destroyed. This is why I say Sherman's March was too much!!
