iFelices Fiestas a todos!

Happy Holidays to all!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday! In class we have created a video for you: Felices Fiestas de la clase de Sra. DePoyster. It shows your students singing all the songs to date in Spanish! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

So far we have covered simple greetings, colors, common animals, popular sea animals, numbers 0-20 and 0-100, body parts, introduction of infinitive verbs, "I like", some school supplies, two Fall rhymes, earth vocabulary, introduction of oneself and asking what the other person's name is, definite articles, the most common irregular verbs in the first person, and of course Feliz Navidad!

In the next half of the year we'll look forward to learning about simple subject pronouns, descriptions (adjectives), clothing items, more school supplies, days of the week, months of the year, the difference between 'usted' and 'tú' (the formal and informal you), conjugation of regular tense verbs, telling time, more seasonal songs, weather, more popular sea animals, etc.

Still so much fun to be had!!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us!
