Revenge is here to stay...

What is Revenge?

The meaning of revenge is the action of inflicting hurt or harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands.

Romeo And Juliet

Montague. Capulet. Death. Revenge. The Capulet had started a fight in Verona by showing disrespect towards the Montague. The prince comes and stops the the fight and later then Romeo comes in all depressed and stuff. He talks about how Rosaline not loving him back. Benvolio comes and tells him that there are other girls that he can like. He denies it. He gets and invitation to go to a party that the Capulet had made. There he meets Juliet. He falls in love again and he goes and hide after the party to go see Juliet.

Later then Tybalt wanted to ask Romeo something but Mercutio drew his sword and so Tybalt and Mercutio started fighting. Mercutio died and Romeo went to go kill Tybalt. "Romeo slew him; he slew Mercutio'' (Shakespeare, Act III Scene 2.) Romeo went off to go talk to Juliet and "have their moment". In the morning Romeo leaves off to Mantua, and the Friar and Juliet have a plan. Later on Romeo does not receive the letter.

Work of art

I chose a song called "Don't you know who I think I am?" By Fall out boy. There is a specific line that I would like to say and it says

"There's a world outside of my front door, that gets off on being down"

In this line, It states that outside of his house is selfishness. In my interpretation of Romeo and Juliet, I would think that both families only care of themselves. All they care about is the huge conflict that they don't even remember how it started. Revenge. He himself is also outside the house. He only cares about himself. He only wants the conflict to last a very long time. If something happens to one of the Capulets that one of the Montague caused, he is there to "solve" or make the problem worse.
