Dane D'Alessandro - Organization Development PhD Candidate

A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and George Washington University, Dane D’Alessandro also holds a certificate in organization development and change management from Georgetown University. He is currently working toward his PhD in organization development at Benedictine University, and expects to complete his studies by 2015. As part of his academic training, Dane D’Alessandro participates in national and international conferences and symposia on organization development and management.

Dane D’Alessandro began his professional career nearly three decades ago as a principal in the strategy and planning practice of American Management Systems, Inc. In this position, he led process improvement and change management initiatives while guiding a team of nearly 20 employees. After more than a decade with American Management Systems, Mr. D’Alessandro joined Accenture as a senior manager in the human performance practice, a role in which he delivered organization development solutions for clients in the technology, telecommunications, and media and entertainment fields.

Since leaving Accenture in 2002, Mr. D’Alessandro has held senior leadership roles with companies such as Amp Information Services and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac). He currently serves as the section chief of the Consumer Response unit for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
