About David Drwencke
David Drwencke is scheduled to graduate with a juris doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2015. His current academic work comes on the heels of a master’s degree in public administration from Oakland University, where he was named to Pi Alpha Alpha, the national public affairs and administration honor society. He also earned a master’s in applied economics from the University of Detroit Mercy and an undergraduate degree in public policy and economics from Albion College. David Drwencke earned LexisNexis and WestLaw Next certification, along with distinction as a Michigan State Court Administrative Office civil mediator.
Over the past five years, Mr. Drwencke has served as a law clerk in the 6th Circuit Court of Michigan. Under the leadership of Honorable Ruby J. Nichols, he provides careful recommendations based on his evaluation of motions and pleadings. He is also responsible for the completion of legal research and court docket organization. David Drwencke has also contributed to a variety of political campaigns, as well as the Leadership Institute’s Michigan state leadership program.
