About David Prather
Board-certified Florida attorney David Prather has practiced civil trial law since the early 1990s. His areas of knowledge extend from auto negligence to medical malpractice, and he achieved a $11.6 million verdict in a high-stakes case involving negligent credentialing. David Prather is active in the Florida Bar and plays a guiding role as a member of its executive committee and board of governors. He is also a trustee of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society and past president of the Palm Beach County Justice Association.
Mr. Prather’s experience in law extends to positions as assistant public defender and assistant state attorney with the State of Florida’s Palm Beach County 15th Judicial Circuit. He joined Lytal, Reiter, Clark, Fountain & Williams as partner in 1995 and focused on wrongful death and personal injury cases with the firm until 2009. David Prather earned his JD at Hunter College, in New York. He has achieved AV Preeminent peer-reviewed status through Martindale-Hubbell.
