About David Weingold
Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, David Weingold, MD, currently runs his private dermatology practice in Jonesboro, Arkansas. There, he treats a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and skin cancer. Highly skilled and experienced in Mohs micrographic surgery, which removes cancerous cells in the skin one layer at a time while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible, Dr. David Weingold also offers more traditional surgical procedures such as electrodessication and curettage depending on a patient’s needs. In addition to providing patient care at his office, the Jonesboro dermatologist currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine.
Dr. David Weingold holds a BA from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and an MD from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. His postgraduate training includes an internship at North Carolina Memorial Hospital and a residency at Duke University Medical center, where he was appointed chief resident during his last year.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. David Weingold enjoys volunteering with his local Jonesboro-area synagogue. He has previously served as a board member for Temple Israel and as president of Temple Israel Cemetery Company. Dr. Weingold can also be found enjoying the outdoors in his free time, pursuing his favorite hobbies of fishing, camping, and gardening.
