Workers are given the right to a safe and healthful workplace environment.

Workers are given the right to know about hazardous chemicals that they will be working with.

Workers are allowed to complain or request hazard correction from their employer. Workers may also file a complaint with OSHA anonomously if the workers believe a violation of safety or health standard, or an imminent danger situation, exists in the workplace.

Workers have the right to get training from their employers on a variety of health and safety hazards, and standards that the employer must follow.

Workers may also participate in an OSHA inspection.

Workers are also free from retaliation for exercising safety and health on the job without fear of punishment. This is stated in Section 11(c) of the OSH Act.
