Crocodiles live in wet habitats such as swamps, ponds, rivers, lakes and marshes. They lay their eggs on land but spend most of their time in water to cool their body temperature and come to bask in the sun when they feel cold. This is because as cold blooded animal, they don’t have the capacity to regulate their body temperatures by themselves. Individual- any distinct person, object, or concept within a collection. Population- A population is a summation of all the organisms of the same group or species.
