Sonnet

A sonnet is a poem of fourteen lines using any of a number of formal rhyme schemes, in English typically having ten syllables per line. It became popular in Germany during the romantic period.

The rain is like a beautiful sonnet
A sonnet oh so pure
It enables all the flowers to grow
The flowers, trees and plants

I don’t know what is wrong with it
The rain that enables nature
Beautiful nature

The rain is oh so comfortable
Dripping on my head
It’s like a lovely shower
Only the temperature’s different

The rain is so relaxing
When I’m walking through it
I really love the rain
When it falls

Upon my hometown Andrew Hamm
