Angles and Shapes

Acute angle-An angle whose measure is between 0 degrees and 90 degrees.

Obtuse angle-An angle greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees.

Straight angle-An angle of 180 degrees.

Right Angle-An angle of 90 degrees.

Quadrilateral-A four-sided figure having four straight sides.

Square- A plane figure with four equal straight sides and four right angles.

Rectangle- A plane figure with four straight sides and four right angles.

Rhombus- A 4-sided flat shape with straight sides where all sides have equal length.

Trapezoid- A quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel side.

Parallelogram- A four-sided plane rectilinear figure with opposite sides parallel.
