Henry Clay

The hot headed Politician and an American lawyer.

Henry Clay was mistaken for a cornerback for the Patriots.

Henry Clay was born on April, 12, 1777 in Virginia. He died on June 29, 1852  He owned 60 slaves at one point then he decided to let them go back to Africa. He was an american lawyer for the first half of the 19th century. Henry was a key figure in the politician development of the USA. He was self-interested, yet he would sacrifice his most strongly held points of view  when the integrity of the union he so loved. As a leading war-hawk in 1812 he favored war with Britain and played a significant role in leading the the nation to the war of  1812.

He had the second most impact on the silver age behind Andrew Jackson. He was a statesmen and may have become the best legeslator . He was a kentucky senator.Henry failed in his all consuming ambition to become president.  Suprisingly, He drank, Gambled, and had a huge addiction for horses. For the first half of the 19th centry, Henry Clay was a key figure in the polition development.  

He died on June, 29, 1852 he died by tuberculosis. He spent his career setting records.
