About Deborah Fox
Possessing years of experience as an administrative professional in education, Dr. Deborah Fox serves as the superintendent of schools for Livingston Manor Central School District in New York, a position she has held since 2008. Active in the field of educational leadership, Dr. Deborah Fox has held ties with a number of professional organizations and associations during her career. Among others, these include the National School Public Relations Association, the Mid-Hudson Regional Computer Center Advisory Board, the Mid-Hudson Principal's Center Advisory Board, the Sullivan County Teacher’s Center Advisory Board, the Mid-Hudson School Study Council Executive Committee, and the New York State Council of School Superintendents, where she served as a member of the Commissioner’s Advisory Council, the Constitution and Bylaws Committee, as well as the House of Delegates.
When not attending to her professional responsibilities, Dr. Deborah Fox devotes time and resources to a number of civic-minded endeavors in and around her community, including the Livingston Manor Rotary Club, Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce, Livingston Manor Free Library, the community youth newspaper Manor Ink, Town of Rockland Planning, the Catskill Arts Society, Sullivan Renaissance, the Boys and Girls Club of Sullivan County, the Weekend of Chamber Music, and the annual Trout Parade celebration. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in enriching outdoor activities such as skiing, gardening, and fly-fishing.
