About Dennis Dahlberg
Expecting to earn his juris doctor in 2014, Dennis Dahlberg is attending Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. Concentrating on dispute resolution and studying oil and gas law, Dahlberg earned his undergraduate degree in history with minors in education and political science from Wittenberg University in Springfield, where he remained for post-graduate and graduate studies in education. Additionally, Dennis Dahlberg holds a master of science in education and allied professions from the University of Dayton.
Since starting law school, Dahlberg has garnered practical experience in the legal field by volunteering with the school’s pro bono recognition program. In addition to this, he serves as a legal assistant with Gerrity & Burrier, Ltd., where he drafts briefs and motions, performs legal research, and reviews case files and depositions. In the summer of 2013, Dennis Dahlberg served as a legal intern for the in-house corporate counsel for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, a role that required him to write the human resources policy for criminal background checks and understand the 501(r) reporting requirements for non-profit hospitals. The previous summer, he externed for the in-house corporate counsel of Mettler Toledo, LLC, and assisted in preparing for product liability trials.
