Dennis DeMarino, Experienced in Implementing Cost-Saving Measures
A professional in the field of procurement and sourcing, Dennis DeMarino has more than two decades of relevant experience, including a tenure as the purchasing manager of Ronpak Incorporated, a manufacturer of paper and plastic bags in New Jersey. There, he leveraged his skills to save money for the company by establishing a centralized purchasing system, which allowed the company to purchase in bulk and eliminate unnecessary items from its orders. Dennis DeMarino also worked with fast food companies such as McDonald’s and Taco Bell while at Ronpak incorporated.
Subsequently, Dennis DeMarino turned his money-saving skills to the education field as the chief financial officer of Woodbridge Township School District. During his time at Woodbridge, he instituted numerous energy-efficient practices to limit costs and oversaw an $86 million referendum construction project, which he completed below budget. One of his projects involved replacing the school boilers with more efficient models to save the school about $500,000 per year.
Alongside his career, Dennis DeMarino has supported organizations to benefit those with cancer. Every year, he participates in the Relay for Life and the Breast Cancer Walk, which he does in honor of a close family member diagnosed with cancer.
