About Devorah Bitran
A longtime resident of Boston, Devorah Bitran was born in Jerusalem and attended high school in Princeton, New Jersey. Currently involved in diverse real estate projects, she most recently served as assistant director of the leadership giving office at Brandeis University. In this capacity, Devorah Bitran was responsible for initiating and cultivating close relationships with gift donors who provided charitable annuities and bequests.
Receiving her B.S. in French from Georgetown University, Ms. Bitran pursued further studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She subsequently completed an M.A. in law and diplomacy at The Fletcher School of international affairs at Tufts University. Throughout the early 2000s, Ms. Bitran served as program manager with the Harvard School of Public Health’s Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research. In this capacity, she directed a team in developing a variety of conferences, training sessions, and seminars for prominent international clients such as the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations. When not involved in real estate endeavors, Devorah Bitran enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family.
