Synchronous oral squamous cell carcinomas with unusual histopathological feature

Dr DeviCharan Shetty and all his team members till now have contributed a huge for the society and still his research is going on other fields give others best. So here I am going to discuss about one of his research papers. He has done so many researches till now, and today you will get to know about the Synchronous Oral Squamous Cell Carcinomas with unusual histopathological feature.

Most of you will not be aware of this topic but today you will get know most of the thigs about it. As researched by Dr DC Shetty Patients with the head and neck carcinomas have the high incidence rate of the second primary lesions. If we talk about Synchronous Carcinomas then it can be defined as the second neoplasms at the same time or may be within the 6 months period of the primary lesions . And after this period of time they all are considered as the metachronous neoplasms. OSCCs (Oral Squamous Cell Carcinomas) is composed of the clear cells or clear cell variant are not documented in the English literature. So here Dr Shetty and his team have done the research on this and presents an unusual case of the synchronous oral squamous cell carcinomas composed predominantly of the clear cells.

Now let’s understand in more brief way. Squamous cell carcinoma of oral cavity is said to be one of the most common head and neck cancer that is observed among the tobacco users. As we all know that tobacco is very harmful to consume but still people don’t stop consuming it but either the number of tobacco consumers is increasing day by day. So here Dr Shetty is trying to do research more on this cancer disease to make people cure.

Also there are so many report that tells that without even consuming tobacco this cancer can be in you also. One of the case is of a 35 year old female patient who has the complaint of the non-healing ulcer in the mouth for the past 1 month. And no tobacco or smoking is done by her. So there so many such cases too that are examined and more research is going on for this. The research work will help everyone to get cured from this type of cancer. Most of the reports of these type of cases need to be documented to characterize the behaviour and usual variant of the oral SCC.
