Dina Nesheiwat - Longtime Community Service Advocate
Throughout her legal career in Florida and New York, Dina Nesheiwat has remained firmly dedicated to community service and charitable giving. She supports the efforts of charitable foundations such as the Scott Stapp Foundation, which delivers valuable resources to children and families living in underserved communities across the globe. Dina is also involved with the K9s4KIDs Initiative that supports safe communities and schools that are patrolled by law enforcement with highly trained K9s ready for action. Dina Nesheiwat also serves on the Board of Directors of the Children Are Magical (CHARM) Foundation. Thanks to the leadership of Ms. Nesheiwat and fellow members of the board, the CHARM Foundation raises awareness of important issues affecting children throughout the country.
Dina Nesheiwat currently works as an attorney in the Law Offices of Tacopina Seigel & Turano, P.C., in New York City, where she focuses her practice on criminal law in addition to civil and securities litigation. In particular, she possesses a keen interest in trial work, as well as wrongful convictions and exonerating individuals serving prison sentences on the basis of false evidence. Ms. Nesheiwat is admitted to practice in the U.S. Federal Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, as well as the states of Florida and New York. She received her LLM, Masters of a law degree, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, and her JD from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami.
In her free time, Dina Nesheiwat enjoys watching movies, attending concerts, and riding her bicycle. An avid reader, she counts Mitch Albom’s The Five People You Meet in Heaven among her favorite books.
