Everything you need to know about paper
Paper is a thin material produced by pressing together moist fibers, typically cellulose pulp derived from wood, rags or grasses, and drying them into flexible sheets.
Paper is a material with many uses. People use paper for printing and copying down important information they have to remember. In school we mostly use it for homework and paper airplanes. Paper is widely used for packaging, cleaning, and eating.
Paper is said to be derived from China during the early 2nd century A.D. The pulp paper making process is know to have been originated by Cai Lun.
The world today relies heavily on paper. The leading distributors are China and the United States. Because paper is extremely abundant, people tend to throw paper in the trash or on the ground. As the want for paper increases, the production rate will increase, leading to deforestation in the most abundant forests around the world. Recycling paper can decrease the amount of trees chopped down each year for paper production.
