1960s and 1990s Pop
Some popular 60s pop artists were Frankie Avalon and Roy Orbison. In the 60s people wore very colorful clothes. The Vietnam War and Kennedy's assassination happened in this decade. Scooby-Doo also came out in 1969. The U.S. experienced the longest uninterrupted period of economical growth in history in the 1960s.
Some popular 90s pop artists were The Backstreet boys and Britney Spears. Baggy jeans and stripy shirts were a real fashion statement in the 90s. The Soviet Union collapsed, Olympic Park bombing and Oklahoma bombing all happed in the 1990s. Bill Nye the Science guy first aired in 1993 and The Lion King came out in 1994. Heart-Shaped Box by Nirvana came out in 1993.
