A Day of My Life on Tonle Sap Lake By Copper Fox
11th of August 2003 Wednesday
The storm has been keeping me up all night I haven’t had any sleep I am really tired. But I start my second advanced class today for maths at 12:30pm so I’m happy, but I need to get some sleep.
I am helping Mum at the market and with the vegetable garden after school. Dad and I are going to have a fish at the pier after that. It will be the last I get to see him before he goes off on his fishing journey.
I’m on my way to school now and I have science first thing until 10:30
I am on my way to English class now I know a lot of different quotes from Shakespeare like “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” and “I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but I see you are unarmed!” but my favourite is “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”
I am my advanced class now I am learning about decimals and percentage out of 100 I’m going home in an hour and I will help mum with the market
I am helping Mum with the market at the moment and I’m almost finished and then I will get to go fishing. I am covered with vegetable and fruit juice so I need to change.
I am fishing with Dad and he caught a catfish it wasn’t very big though
I am eating dinner at the moment. I have already seen Dad off; I hope he makes it back ok. I’ll finish eating then I will go to bed
Goodnight, let’s hope the storm settles down tonight because I am really tired.
