About Douglas Corbett
Douglas Corbett, MPH, is an experienced professional in the field of health care administration. His recent career history includes serving as administrator for Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department in Watseka, Illinois. In that position, he managed the overall operations of 60 programs and 40 employees for the CHAP-accredited agency. His major projects included overseeing the Ford-Iroquois public health foundation and developing a $2.3 million Federal Flood Grant. Prior to joining Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department, Douglas Corbett served as deputy administrator for Perry County Health Department in Pinckneyville, Illinois. His recent experience also includes working as an epidemiology specialist for the City of Saint Louis Department of Health.
Educated at Westminster College, Douglas Corbett earned his bachelor of arts in sociology in 1986. He went on to complete his master of public health at Saint Louis University. Highly active in his field, he is a member of the Illinois Public Health Association, the Society for Public Health Education, and the American Public Health Association.
