About Doug Shriber
A graduate of Kent State University, Doug Shriber balances a busy career as a marketing executive with a strong commitment to the community. In his professional endeavors and his private life, he has been a longtime supporter of several charitable and nonprofit groups, including Habitat for Humanity, Variety Pittsburgh and The challenge program, Doug Shriber became a living organ donor when he donated a kidney to a relative with kidney failure.
Professionally, Doug Shriber began his more than two-decade-long career in the marketing field as an account executive with Barnstable Broadcasting in Akron, Ohio. After gaining experience with the company, as well as through a two-year stint with CBS Radio, Mr. Shriber joined Clear Channel Communications as a key account manager. In this role, he managed national campaigns for major firms that included Dick’s Sporting Goods. He received significant industry recognition during his nearly 15 years with the advertising giant, including being named the Radio Account Executive of the Year and receiving a Clear Channel Pinnacle Award.
Currently, Mr. Shriber spearheads the Marbury Group, a Pittsburgh-based marketing and advertising agency he founded in 2011. He is also active as a board member for area companies and organizations such as the Pittsburgh Charity Classic, The Pittsburgh association and American Century Investments.
