About Doug Tracia
A registered Investment Advisor Representative, Doug Tracia currently oversees his insurance and financial services firm, D. F. Tracia & Associates, Inc. Specializing in financial planning and creative investment strategies, the group has served Wakefield, Massachusetts, and beyond since 1997. As founder and President, Doug Tracia brings his clients a wealth of experience, gained from both his professional and academic backgrounds.
Initially pursuing a career in education, Douglas Tracia attended Springfield University, where he earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in English and Physical Education. While there, he remained active in student government, serving as Student Government President, Resident Assistant, New Student Orientation Leader, and Co-Chairperson of the Leadership Training Conference. He also functioned as Features Editor of the student newspaper. Soon after graduation, he began teaching English in the Massachusetts Public School System.
Concurrently, Douglas Tracia obtained a Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law, after which he instructed courses in constitutional law, criminal law, legal writing, and paralegal studies for two years at North Shore Community College. Mr. Tracia subsequently functioned as Managing Attorney for the Ninety-Nine Washington Street Law Offices, a general practice-based law office specializing in child protection, adoption, juvenile delinquency, and criminal defense. Later in his career, he began practicing as a Certified Long Term Care Specialist and Certified Senior Advisor, and became a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Doug Tracia remains an active supporter of philanthropic causes, such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the National Wheelchair Foundation, and the Smile Foundation. Furthermore, as a recently inducted lifelong member of the Million Dollar Round Table, Mr. Tracia champions the organization’s philanthropic branch, the Knight Foundation.
