Rachel had been born September 19, 1894 in New York. Rachel had her education at a college called Radcliffe College. Rachel was a successful author of adult fiction. Rachel not only poems, but plays as well for Children and adults. She had wrote many poems, three of them were also Bestsellers! Rachel is also famous for a song that she turned into a repetition poem, "Something Told the Wild Geese".
Rachel married a man named Arthor Pedersen in 1935. Rachel died in a hospital in California. The reason she died was from a sickness called pneumonia in 1942. She died at age 46
I chose to mention "Something told the Geese" Because i liked that it was about nature. I also no that she ment how the geese could tell that winter was coming despite it still looking like summer. I also liked how she detailed the poem.
