I am a teacher convinced of the importance of using new technologies in teaching
Because i think that the tablets are very important for our education. students are more motivated and teacher feels that lessons become more interesting.
What whole-school challenges do I already face or do I anticipate facing when using tablets?
In my school we don't have tablets and don't have wi-fi connection. Most of theacher don't know how to use tablets and need support and training sessions. I think that whole school challenge will be how to find the funds to buy the tablets and then pay for the training and find the teachers interested in using
tablets. I think is very important the organization of course for teacher, the implementation of technical resources and the standardization of tablets use.
Apps for teaching: Edmodo
I started using Edmodo about three months ago . I find it very interesting and useful. Using Edmodo, teachers invite students into private groups that can be used for online classroom discussions, but in a format that keeps the teacher firmly in control. Teachers give students a class signup code, which can be deactivated once all students have signed up, and students in turn are encouraged to share the code with their parents, allowing them to monitor their own child's activity. As an invitation-only social network, Edmodo is meant to mirror a secure offline classroom that intruders cannot access, with rules of decorum enforced by software. For example, just as students aren't supposed to pass notes in class, they can't send private messages to each other. They can post only to the group or the teacher, and group messages can be moderated by the teacher if necessary.
I didn't know Learning scenario. it was very interesting to discover this new methodology. Certainly in the next school year I will use this methodology. n this context the use of tabets is certainly advantageous. Dream, Explore, Map, make, ask, re-make, show will be the key words of my teaching method
What kind of content can you produce with your class?
My students do not have the tablet but working with computers in the computer lab . We have considerable difficulty with the wi fi
This podcast was produced in a radio laboratory with audacity . I downloaded the audio files on soundcloud and I developed a presentation of content on tackk
Carnival in Leonforte
students have put their videos up you tube and then we made a presentation with tackk

Use tablets for collaborative learning
Forming groups for group work
It depends on the activity usually I formed a small group formed by two or by four students. Sometimes I leave the students free to choose the group and sometimes I decide the composition of the groups. I prefer to organize groups to balance them and have in each group different and complementary skills. It depends on my goals
Challenges of collaborative works
It is important that students focus on tasks. Is important that each pupil has a task. To give a specific task teacher should know students, you have to begin again and observe before to assign different roles. It's very important to create a climate of collaboration in the group and sharing. Each element of the group must feel important for the realization of the purpose
Success factor of school-to-school collaboration projects
Unfortunately I have no experience in this field I think these experiences help students to grow and learn about the world. Each school should participate in such experiences
Assessment and collaboration
I think that work on groups and collaboration is very important in our students. Assessment is a very important for students and teachers. Create working groups in the classroom helps to develop a climate of collaboration between equals.
Apps for collaborative learning
Using tablets for personalizing learning e flipping the classroom
Learning Styles of your Students
Teachers assess the learning styles of their students and adapt their classroom methods to best fit each student's learning style.
Tablets and Personalisation
Through the use of the tablet can be customized learning. The use of the tablet helps the work of students with dyslexia and students with special educational needs
Flipping the classroom
In the traditional model of classroom instruction, the teacher is typically the central focus of a lesson and the primary disseminator of information during the class period. The teacher responds to questions while students defer directly to the teacher for guidance and feedback. In a classroom with a radically traditional style of instruction, individual lessons may be didactic and entirely content oriented. Pedagogical methods, however, evolve and in some traditional classrooms the instructional flow involves teacher-driven lessons where content is conveyed after which students work independently or in small groups on an application task or activity.
