Mexico after the revolution of 1910-1920
- overthrew the elite and other foreign economic control.
-Liberal constitution of 1917 guaranteed land and liberty to Mexico
- government had control over subsoil and it's products. The state had right to redistribute land to village peasants.
-Redistribution of land to peasants reached peak during the presidency of Lazaro Cardenas.
-After 1930s, conservative governments dominated by Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) which ruled harshly and experimented the economic strategies that affected the dependence on foreign market.
- Got attacked(political oppression by Mexican peasants), opposition party PDR led by his son.
