A founding partner and president of Neurological Surgery and Spine Surgery in Westchester, Illinois, Dr. Andrew Zelby has more than 25 years of experience in neurosurgery. Concentrating his practice on caring for patients coping with spinal conditions, he emphasizes the use of conservative, nonsurgical treatments to maintain long-term spinal health. For patients whose condition requires surgical intervention, Dr. Andrew Zelby performs cutting-edge, minimally invasive procedures, including disc and fusion surgeries.

Along with his position at Neurological Surgery and Spine Surgery, Andrew Zelby, MD, has served since 2007 as an assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Rush University Medical Center. He also holds privileges as an attending neurosurgeon at several greater Chicago metropolitan area medical centers, among them Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. Previously, Dr. Zelby instructed as an associate professor of neurosurgery at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and as an assistant professor of neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center.

A board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Andrew Zelby, MD, also maintains standing as a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. In addition to his clinical and teaching work, he has published research in multiple peer-reviewed publications.
