About Dr. Allison Bell
For more than two decades, Dr. Allison Bell has led a Katonah, New
York, independent practice that emphasizes marital therapy and
children’s neuropsychological evaluations. From Yeshiva University, she
earned her Psy.D., a degree similar to a Ph.D. but tailored to clinical
psychology. Since obtainining this doctorate degree on par with a Ph.D.,
Dr. Allison Bell has been a consistent advocate for children with
special needs through activities spanning school districts across the
Northeastern United States. Additionally, she has 16 years of experience
within supreme court and family court settings, and is frequently
called upon to neutral forensic custody evaluations throughout New York
State’s southern region.
Dr. Bell’s local community experience encompasses teaching at Westchester’s Judicial Institute. She has augmented her initial academic qualifications through completion of mediator training at the Center for Mediation in Law and has also undertaken coursework at the Harvard Program on Negotiation. Dr. Allison Bell is a longtime amateur dancer who has taken part in numerous college and community performing arts productions. Furthermore, she completed graduate studies in dance and movement therapy at Hunter College.
