About Dr. Deborah Riester
Endocrinologist and internist Dr. Deborah Riester founded and now serves as president of the busy private group practice Medical Associates of Greater Boston (MAOGB). At MAOGB of Natick, Massachusetts, Dr. Deborah Riester and an experienced team of practitioners and staff offer a wide range of high-quality medical services to an established customer base. Focused on early intervention and preventative care, MAOGB maintains partnerships with several regional healthcare institutions, including the Newton Wellesley Hospital and its affiliated Waltham Urgent Care Center.
Prior to beginning her career in medicine, Dr. Deborah Riester earned her doctor of medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine. She went on to complete a three-year residency in internal medicine at Chicago’s Northwestern University Medical Center, where she was nominated for a Rambach Award for skills excellence and a Goldsmith Award for patient care. Dr. Riester completed a fellowship in endocrinology at Tufts New England Medical Center before working in the field of private medicine. In 2013, she recertified with the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; she previously possessed accreditation in clinical densitometry.
