Experienced Interventional Radiologist in Dallas

For more than 15 years, Dr. James Summa served as an interventional radiologist at White Rock Radiology, located in Dallas. There, his responsibilities included providing outpatient diagnoses through various imaging technologies, such as x-ray, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and digital mammography. In addition, Dr. James Summa performed angiograms to treat patients with conditions like aortic aneurysms and peripheral vascular disease, as well as conducted nonsurgical radiological procedures.

Prior to initiating his career, Dr. James Summa graduated magna cum laude from Baldwin-Wallace College with a bachelor of science in biology before earning his doctor of medicine at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Pursuing postdoctoral training, he completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, followed by a fellowship in angiography and interventional radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Summa later went on to secure both board certification and a certificate of added qualifications in vascular/interventional radiology from the American Board of Radiology.
