About Dr. Ryan Potter
Leveraging extensive experience in patient care, Dr. Ryan Potter leads Comprehensive Pain Management, PA, of Corpus Christi, TX, in his capacity as president. The private practice attends to patients with its staff of 15 qualified professionals. In preparation for his career, Dr. Ryan Potter enrolled at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he earned his doctor of medicine. Continuing his education, he completed his Anesthesiology residency under two prior Presidents of the American Board of Anesthesiology (DR Frank James and Dr Ray Roy) at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. While there, he received the Certificate of Patient Appreciation twice. He also holds a bachelor of science from Texas Tech University, from which he graduated cum laude.
As a researcher, Ryan N. Potter, MD, presented “Successful Radio-frequency Thermocoagulation of the Lumbar Facet Medial Branch Nerves: A Case Report” before the 25th Annual Gulf-Atlantic Anesthesia Residents’ Research Conference. He also participated in double-blind, placebo-controlled, and randomized studies into the efficacy of Botox and a morphine sulfate extended release medication in treating back pain.
When not treating patients, Dr. Potter stays active through such sports as snowboarding and windsurfing.
