A graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Steven Salvatore completed his residency in emergency medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital. He has been board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine in the states of New York and New Jersey. Furthermore, Dr. Steve Salvatore is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Steve Salvatore has served in various capacities over the years. He previously served as attending physician in the Emergency Department at New York Hospital Queens. A year later, he transferred to St. John’s Queens Hospital, taking on the position of assistant director in the Emergency Department.
From 1998 to 2000, Dr. Steven Salvatore served as CNN’s medical correspondent. His experience at CNN became the foundation for his career as a physician journalist. Eventually, he became the host of Fox News Channel’s WebMD TV Weekend. In addition, he served as Fox 5 News’ medical correspondent from 2002 to 2005.
Today, Dr. Steve Salvatore is working as a physician at Southampton Primacare, a concierge-style practice that provides patients with easy access to primary care services.
